Raised on a diet of influences ranging from Lightnin' Hopkins to Big Bill Broonzy, as well as more modern-day artists like Justin Townes Earle, Kyle Brew has a voice that is distinctive, rich and beyond his years.

Residing in the northern-suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, the mid-twenties alt-country/folk singer writes music that reflects the mind of an older soul. With four EPs under his belt already, Brew's observational lyrics are confidently delivered with the kind of lines that get stuck in your head for days on end. As a result, the self-recording and self-producing artist has successfully broadcast his honest and forthright music into the ears of thousands around the world.

August 2018 saw the inauguration of the country singer's career with the release of his first EP 'Hangover Day'. Recorded live to tape in just five hours at Melbourne's Aviary Recording Studio, the four-track debut EP consists of: 'Impatient', 'You're The Words', 'My Only Friend' and 'Hangover Day'

With a suitcase full of shows under his belt and a treasure trove of new songs crafted, Kyle returned to the scene in 2020 with a double release. His sophomore EP 'Well, There's Nothing Else To Do?', was released in April and comprises of five tracks: 'Dying With a Smile', 'Self Control', 'God Damn (That's Life)', 'I Feel Down Today' and 'Take Things As They Go'. Brew then went on to release his third EP 'I Think I'll Stay Home For My Birthday' in October, featuring: 'I Think I'll Stay Home For My Birthday', 'Marlboro Man', 'Fast, Free, No Stress, Easy', 'One Day at a Time' and 'One Cheer for Me, One Cheer for You'. His track 'Marlboro Man' goes on to become a fan favourite.

2020 also saw Kyle become a top three finalist for the ‘Gems In The Rough’ 2020 competition, held annually by the Nashville-based digital media channel ‘Gems On VHS‘ which champions video performances by folk and Americana artists. This competition placed Kyle in front of an international audience which pushed his career forward by developing a new fanbase across the American country and folk scene.

In 2021, Brew made the top three again in the ‘Gems In The Rough’ 2021 competition, attracting even more attention from fans of country and folk music around the world and receiving widespread praise for his works. 2021 also saw the release of his latest album 'Smoking On The John', a five track EP consisting of: 'Midlife Crisis', 'Sweet Lady', 'Stupid Kyle', 'Living On (The Edge Of My Seat)' and 'I Only Know What I Know and I Don't Know Why'.
